Biography

Erwan Carpentier joined the firm Derriennic Associés as Of Counsel in January 2022.

With more than 20 years of corporate experience, notably as Legal Director and Deputy Director within global IT services companies such as Capgemini, Wipro and Mindtree, Erwan has an excellent understanding of the legal challenges in the new technologies and digital sectors, particularly in a multi‑jurisdictional environment.

In this capacity, he offers his legal expertise and business‑oriented approach to help companies and their executives address the legal issues arising from digital transformation projects.

Erwan provides advice on matters such as IT contracts, Agile methodologies, the Cloud and SaaS, as well as on more innovative topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and cybersecurity.

He holds a Master’s degree (M2) in International Business Law from the University of Toulouse, studied abroad (Erasmus in Sweden and an LLM in England), and holds the CIPP‑E certification in data protection.
