Biography
Specialized in corporate law, M&A and private equity for over 25 years, François practices mergers & acquisitions, joint-ventures, assets disposals, LBOs, restructurings, capital structuring, shareholder agreements and fund-raising. He has developed a recognized expertise in complex legal structuring operations, notably using preferred shares to match the expectations of each party with features of the contemplated transaction.
He advises entrepreneurs, corporates and legal departments, innovative high-growth companies and investment funds, both on their day-to-day issues and on specific transactions. He works in a wide range of sectors, including technology, healthcare, energy and retail.
François acquired and developed his expertise in prestigious Parisian and international law firms (Veil Jourde, Freshfields, Mayer Brown). Before joining Derriennic Associés, he was a partner at Ginestié Paley-Vincent for 14 years.
François Devedjian holds a post-graduate degree (DEA) from Paris Dauphine University.
