Biography

With more than 20 years of experience as IT/IP/DATA legal counsel, notably as General Counsel and SVP of various IT MNCs (Capgemini, Wipro, Mindtree), Erwan benefits from a technical and operational knowledge of the legal issues of the new and digital technologies being AI, Cloud, blockchain, NFT, Software Asset Management, with great ability to advise and be impactful in a transnational environment.

Erwan has joined the law firm Derriennic and Associated as Counsel specialized in IT & Data. and he serves large customers, mid-size companies and Indian players with offices in Europe. To him, providing legal services shall encompass having a 360D approach by understanding and addressing the business, compliance and operational risks in order to better deliver to end customers and maintain a commercial advantage.

Erwan, was based out of India, handled Europe as European GC for Wipro and travelled the world to close deals.

In term of qualification, he holds a French Master 2 Degree from the University of Toulouse, one LLM from University of London and secured certificates in data privacy  (IAPP – CIPP-E) and cybersecurity (from AFNOR) .
